Common Ground

Terms of service

Last updated: September 2026

Using Common Ground

Common Ground is a coordination platform for caregivers who share the care of their children. You agree to use the service only for its intended purpose: recording and sharing factual information about your children's schedules, health, education and related arrangements.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you create and for keeping your login details secure. Only upload documents, photos and information that you have the right to share. Do not use the messaging or records features to harass, threaten or defame the other parent — the service is designed to reduce conflict, not create it.

Records and reliability

Entries are timestamped and a permanent audit trail records significant actions. These records reflect what users entered; they are not independently verified by us. If you rely on your records in mediation or legal proceedings, you do so at your own discretion.

No professional advice

Common Ground is not a legal, medical or counselling service, and nothing in the app constitutes professional advice. For legal, medical or mental health matters affecting your family, consult a qualified professional.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we may modify, suspend or discontinue features. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
